The amount of lactose per serving is approximately 2 grams. This amount is unlikely to cause symptoms in the majority of lactose intolerant individuals. People with severe lactose intolerance should avoid this product.
The ON-THE-GO! SHAKE does not contain soy protein. However, it does contain 0.1 gram of soy lecithin. Soy lecithin is used as a lubricant for the pouring of whey protein. Soy lecithin is not a protein, it is a lipid.

As we developed the ON-THE-GO! SHAKE, we decided to focus on a 12-serving bag with included serving scoop to limit the amount of discardable packaging associated with the new line. This approach also allowed us to control the overall cost of bringing the ON-THE-GO! SHAKE to market, resulting in a more competitive price and better value. Also, when working with test groups, we found that most people intend to mix their ON-THE-GO! SHAKE at home, often using a blender and adding fruit or other ingredients.
The quality control process for our ON-THE-GO! SHAKE is extremely rigorous. Each production batch is tested to ensure that each serving delivers the exact amount of nutrients indicated on the label. Because slight variations between batches are impossible to eliminate, the size of the serving scoop is instead adjusted, ensuring customers receive the advertised amount of nutrients in every shake. A second factor is slight variation between the vanilla and chocolate formulas, which is also accounted for by varying the size of serving scoop supplied with each flavour and batch.
